01Who we are
In short: Laneo is run by Laneo™, based in Texas.
Laneo is a parking platform for apartment communities. It is provided by Laneo™ (“Laneo”, “we”, “us”), with a team based in Texas.
For most information about residents and guests, the property you live at or visit decides why and how parking is managed, and Laneo processes information on the property’s behalf. For our website, demo requests and Laneo accounts, Laneo decides how information is used.
02What this notice covers
In short: The Laneo apps, the website and how we talk to you.
This notice applies to the resident app, guest parking pages, the property admin, plate lookup for enforcement partners, getlaneo.com, and emails and support conversations with us.
It does not cover the separate privacy practices of your property, its enforcement partner or other companies, even when you reach them through a link in Laneo.
03Information we collect
In short: Plates and contact details, visit times, payment status and lookup records.

We don’t collect your phone’s precise location, and we don’t send text messages.
04How we use information
In short: To run parking at your property, take payments, support you and keep Laneo secure.
- Run parking. Issue permits and guest passes, apply your property’s rules and show whether a plate is valid.
- Take payments. Charge resident permits and guest hours, send receipts and issue refunds.
- Support you. Answer questions in English and Spanish and fix problems with your account.
- Keep Laneo secure. Prevent misuse, keep the audit trail and investigate problems.
- Improve Laneo. Understand how features are used. Analytics never include plates, names, emails or card data.
- Talk to property teams. Reply to demo requests and send product updates to people who ask for them.
- Meet legal duties. Keep records we must keep for tax and accounting, and respond to lawful requests.
06How long we keep it
In short: Only as long as parking, payments and the law need. Deletion runs automatically.

When a property stops using Laneo, we return its information on request and then delete it under our agreement with the property.
07Your choices and rights
In short: Ask to see, correct or delete your information, or stop marketing emails.
Depending on where you live, including Texas, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your information and get a copy of it
- Correct information that’s wrong
- Delete information we hold about you
- Opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising (we do neither)
- Appeal if we decline your request
Write to privacy@getlaneo.com. We’ll check your identity and reply within 45 days. If your request is about information we hold for your property, we may pass it to the property and help them respond. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in the email.
09Security
In short: Encryption, access by role and an audit trail.
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, each property’s data is kept separate, and people only see what their role needs. Plate lookups and changes are recorded in an audit trail. Our Security and privacy page has more detail. No system is perfectly secure, and we’ll tell you and your property if a breach affects your information, as the law requires.
10Children
In short: Laneo isn’t meant for children under 13.
Laneo is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, write to privacy@getlaneo.com and we’ll delete it.
11Changes to this notice
In short: We’ll tell you before important changes take effect.
If we make important changes, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. Earlier versions are listed in the version history below.
