Rental and temporary cars

In short: yes, you can park a rental or temporary car. Swap your plate in the app while you have it, then swap back. Swaps are free, though your property may limit how many you make each month.

Steps

1. Swap to the rental’s plate Open your vehicle, choose Replace a vehicle and enter the rental’s plate and state. The new permit starts when you save.
2. Park as usual The rental’s plate is your permit while it’s saved.
3. Swap back when you return it Enter your own plate again and save.

Good to know

• When you swap, the old plate’s permit ends. Swap back as soon as you have your own car again.
